Nerf rant

As most of the people who go here know about nerfmodsreviews.com, but what it should really be called is foam blaster mods and reviews since they don't just focus on Nerf guns, but on all types of foam firing blasters. In the current society that we live in when most people see a foam firing blaster they assume it is a Nerf blaster, but when it could be a buzz bee, air zone, or some type of off brand blaster. The reason for us calling all foam firing blasters Nerf blasters is because they are the most well know brand of foam blasters. Take a car for example, just because Ford is the best know car maker doesn't mean that all the other cars are fords. Also just because ford is the best know doesn't mean that they are the best car maker, back in the world of foam blasters that is also true while Nerf is the best know Air zone often makes better foam blasters than Nerf, but often gets over looked by consumers due to their lack of knowledge of the blaster. So next time you see a foam blaster make sure you call it by it's proper name

Marshmallow bow or crossbow

So I(icicle) won a marshmallow crossbow a few years back in a contest and thought it would make a cool nerf gun.

Being a bit under the weather I got this idea, I let ice^3 work on it. He did a fine job on he used a marker barrel on it and held it in place with hot glue. The gun got about 35feet flat and 40 angled, this would have made a nice secondary for any nerfer. I left this alone in my closet for about 1 1/2 years until about 2 days ago when I found it and knew how to make it better. I lubed up every moving part and seal with white lithium grease.

Then I added a half inch cpvc coupler that is held in place by hot glue and goop.

The seal on it coupler is air tight and there is no way from to escape. The cpvc barrel causes some leakage because it does not create a perfect seal like the coupler did. The gun is now in bow form which was accomplished by removing the bottom trigger mech. This can be easily put back into crossbow mode. The gun it's self with a better dart seal and smoother barrel movement can punch 85 flat and 100 angled.

With such powerful rages this gun can now be a primary that is small and compact. I plan on making this my new secondary only because my primary is my longshot. Another side note about this bow is that while it does have a small grip it is extremely comfortable to hold.

Until next time stay cool my friends.

Mav dart holder

My Maverick broke on me and i can not fix it and so this led me to build this:

                                                Side view

                                                         Back

The part on the back is a connector from the longshot front gun. It is held in place by hot glue and can fit any gun with one of these

Mine came from my old deploy which is now broken and is being used for a secret project. I removed the side pieces from it so it may now fit any gun. all you have to do is attach it with hot glue.  Sorry for the long time with no posts, it is just that i have been busy with many nerf related projects and never found time to post.

What I decided to do with my leaky Magstrike. (Updated! Added a new pic of my Longshot)

I (IceCubed) bought a Magstrike from Icicle's brother. As it turned out there was a leak in the connection between the pump and bladder. I tried fixing it with hot glue and then later I tried epoxy putty. It still leaked. So I decided to bypass the pump AND the bladder. How? Find out after the split.
